We are very happy with these girls. Both are incredibly confident, loving and sweet. They are our most confident and outgoing Bernese that we own. Bernese can tend to be shy and timid and what we love about both girls is that they are fearless. They are extremely friendly towards everyone and are always in a good mood. They are very trainable as a result and we know their pups will be the same. Miriam is slightly more outgoing and less dependent than her sister. She loves to be with people but isn’t as needy as her sister. Both are very similar in personality. Miriam is also 10 lbs smaller.
Miriam has near perfect health clearances. She scored one of the best hip scores we have ever seen with a BVA 2:3 (Excellent). She also has perfect elbows with a BVA 0:0 score. Over 25% of Bernese have elbow dysplasia so it’s very important to get that tested. She also has been has been cleared with OFA for her heart, her eyes, Von Willebrand & Degenerative Myelopathy. Miriam has been DNA profiled by the AKC and is dual registered with Polish Kennel Club and the AKC.
