Our Breeds
At Recherche Doodles, we’re proud to be able to breed and train what we feel are some of the best dog breeds out there.
Our breeds are chosen with many different factors in mind. We wanted to choose breeds that were family friendly and would bring joy to family members of all ages, while also providing a bit of luxury. Our Doodles and Designer breeds do just that!
We also wanted breeds that were intelligent and could keep their training once they leave our facilities.
Finally, we only choose breeds we are personally passionate about. Our goal is not only to provide the best pups in the world, but to further each breed and educate people about them. Below, you’ll see some highlights of why we chose the breeds we did.
The Sheepadoodle
The Sheepadoodle is a hybrid breed resulting from a cross of the Old English Sheepdog and a Standard or Miniature Poodle.
Poodles are one of the most intelligent breeds in the world. Combining that with the sweet personality of the Old English Sheep Dog produces one of the best breeds we have seen. A super sweet, social, intelligent and healthy dog.
Typically, Sheepadoodle puppies are wonderful family dogs that love attention and children even more. They’re exceptionally playful and sweet, and they enjoy the company of other dogs and their families.
The Labradoodle
The Labradoodle is a hybrid breed resulting from a cross of the Labrador Retriever and a Standard or Miniature Poodle.
If you’re looking for an energetic breed with large amounts of loyalty, the Labradoodle is perfect. They get along with other dogs and kids alike, and will keep up with the energy in any home.
Due to the work ethic of the Labrador Retriever and the high intelligence of the Poodle, the Labradoodle is willing to learn, and does it quickly. This means they generally take their training well and continue to train well throughout their years.
The Bernedoodle
The Bernedoodle is a mix between a purebred Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle. This hybrid brings out the best of both parent breeds, and results in a mix that is actually healthier than the parent breeds.
Bernedoodles are loyal and dependent, as well as being quite active. They love to play and interact, but also feel right at home snuggling up on the couch. They are very ready to please their owner, and depend on them.
The Bernedoodle also has a lower shed rate than the Bernese Mountain Dog and can be better around those with allergies. They still have a thick and beautiful coat that can be curly or wavy.
The Cavapoo
The Cavapoo is a mix between a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle, making this a designer breed.
You will find the Cavapoo to be a quiet breed who loves to play and is extremely good around children. They really are quite charming as well!
The Cavapoo can feature the long, straight hair of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, or the curly hair of the poodle, giving this breed a variety of personalities to choose from.
The Cavachon
The Cavachon is a mix between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Bichon Frise. A small breed with lots of love, the Cavachon is a great fit in any home.
The Cavachon is a loving and lively hybrid who aims to please, is highly intelligent, and is a perfect companion. Their hypoallergenic silky coat, mixed with an irresistible personality, makes them a great family pet.
